Our Team

beth franklin ceo You may wonder why we are called Multi-Task Solutions. The simple answer is…Meet Beth. Our fearless co-founder and leader is multi-tasking in motion. From sitting on numerous boards including the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt Canby Robinson Society and Second Harvest Food Bank to chasing down her four dogs, this woman never stops moving. Before co-founding MTS, Beth served as CEO of Star Transportation. When they sold the company in 2007, it took Beth about two minutes to realize it is not in her DNA to function without a hundred projects on her plate. From this, MTS was born. Her ability to actively take part in the community and still run a successful operation is why Nashville Business Journal named her one of Nashville’s Women of Influence in 2009. If you ask her one of her favorite things to do, she will tell you it is walking and emailing…at the same time (also known as multi-tasking). What a great example set by our CEO.

Favorite Coffee: No coffee; just tea with about 3,000 lemons!
First Childhood Memory: Ballet Class and I did not like it. I was chubby and could not get my leg up on the bar even though it was 3-year old height.

mandee johnson president Originally from the sticks of Tennessee, this farmer’s daughter brings a hardworking attitude to the office every single day. As MTS’s Chief Happiness Officer and Co-Founder, Mandee’s primary role is to keep the MTS clients and employees smiling. She believes her positive attitude and high energy level is brought on by her three daughters who constantly keep her on her toes, but we think it is from all the Mountain Dew she drinks. Working as the executive aide to former Governor Ned McWherter, as well as with David D. Dortch and Beth Franklin at Star Transportation, Mandee quickly learned how to handle any task placed in front her in a creative and efficient manner. She was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 by The City Paper and Entrepreneurs’ Organization Nashville. Mandee’s dedication to her entrepreneurial spirit motivates the MTS staff every day. As we all know, a motivated team is a happy team and this is why Mandee is our Chief Happiness Officer.

Favorite Coffee: Mountain Dew!
First Childhood Memory: I remember wearing my brothers cowboy boots to kindergarten and everyone called me big foot. It literally made me sick and I threw up in the bathroom and my mother had to come pick me up. She told me not to wear those big boots but I cried and cried until she said yes. I always listened to her advice after that!

misty coe Misty’s life plays out like a novel by Danielle Steele, who happens to be her favorite author. Growing up on the family plantation, where she spent her summers frolicking in the strawberry fields, she dreamed of a life in the big city. She decided to make this dream a reality, and began working at Star Transportation with Beth and Mandee in 2000. When they started MTS, they knew she had to be on their team. She handles everything from scheduling appointments to auction solicitation, which is why we love her so much. Misty’s ‘conquer the world’ attitude is what makes her such an amazing Executive Assistant.*

Favorite Coffee: Caramel Macchiato
First Childhood Memory: Sledding in the snow with my Mom and Dad

*If you are wondering if she had the love story, she did. They are living happily ever after with their chihuahua Isabella, who is never seen in public without her sparkly pink collar.
