Before co-founding MTS, Beth was the CEO of Star Transportation--a family owned, irregular route truckload carrier founded in 1980. She was voted Industrial Business Owner of the Year in 1993 by the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is currently on the board of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Nashville Branch of Bank of America Advisory Board. Beth served five years as a member of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, two of those five years she held the title of Chairman.

Before co-founding MTS, Mandee worked with Beth for almost 15 years at Star Transportation. Following graduation from University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a degree in Communications, she worked as a Media Buyer for The Tombras Group in Knoxville, one of Tennessee’s first ad agencies.  In 1991, Mandee had twins and took a few years at home (as she says, “to recover from the shock!”) and returned to work in 1993 as the Executive Aide to Tennessee’s Governor Ned McWherter until the completion of his term. In 1995, Mandee began working with Beth Franklin, CEO of Star Transportation and future co-creator of Multi-Task Solutions. Mandee worked at Star for twelve years as right-hand woman to both Beth and Beth's father, David D. Dortch, Chairman of Star Transportation, until the creation of Multi-Task Solutions in 2007.

Stephanie is a member of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and enjoys practicing yoga, running, reading maps and parallel parking.

ginger
Ginger, fresh out of Western Kentucky University with an Accounting Degree, has just recently joined our MTS team. Ginger jumped at the opportunity when she heard that MTS was looking for a new employee and moved down two weeks after the interview. After graduation and the move to back to Tennessee, Ginger began to indulge in outdoor/health activities. Ginger had been quite busy going to school full time to get out of high school and college in three years each, so she spends a lot of time trying new, exciting things. Some of Ginger’s favorite things in life are music, driving with music, driving with music with all the windows down, and chocolate.
